If you're talking about Geno's Pizza, the only way it's "killer" is on the way out.....

Tastes like cardboard, and costs $30 for 2 large pies, which is really just a medium with more (but smaller) slices....

Are we referring to "Best Italian" ?  I've been happy with them and I love sitting outside by the river.

A bunch of us went to the Dixie Stampede in '03.  I found it to be corny, the food mediocre and over-priced, and you sit in a theater-style arrangement, which doesn't promote conversing with others in your group.  The menu selection is very limited.  Oh, BTW, you hear the words, "Dixie Stampede" shouted about 20 times during the show, which gets a bit weird after a while.  Some may like it, kids will find it interesting, but for a people who like dives, semi-quiet, and cold beer, this ain't the place.  Been there, done that, got the photograph, but would rather spend my time enjoying good company and food.

Boo.

Off topic  Not food, but has anyone been to the Sweet Fannie Adams Theater?  Well worth every penny.  I've been comming to Gatlinburg off and on for MANY years, and finally decided to go.  I LOVED it.

Anyone else have problems at the Red Rooster this morning?  I found something in my pancakes - waitress took it to the back, and it turns out to be a piece of the bucket they make the pancake mix in.  No big deal, at least it wasn't a finger!

I last ate at Smokey Bones abut 1 1/2  years ago.  I got the buffalo burger, and broke a tooth on a chunk of metal the size of pea gravel.  They said it must have come from the processing plant.  I haven't been back, as they not only didn't give me my meal for free, but they only covered my dental deductable and said they would have nothing else to do with it.  Kiss my grits!!!(is that still PG 13?).

Yeah, we tried that and they say they are open until 2am, and when we submitted our order, it was 1am, and then they said they were closed (this was online!)

Check your credit card as soon as possible.  I heard another member got charged a bunch of times for one order and they never even got a confirmation number saying it went through.
