Since I said I want to play, I guess I should fill this stuff out:
Screen Name:Chopped_Burban
Real Name:Alan Nielsen
1500 or 2500 AV:1500
Desired Class:Hot Stock
Nitrous Y/N:N
Forced Induction Y/N:N
Performance Mods (be honest, cheaters will be flogged):
S&B CAI
Gibson Headers
Gibson Exhaust
That's it for performance mods right now, but I do have more mods planned for before and at Nationals. Nothing that should take me out of Hot Stock though (wish I was putting on FI
)

Should be a go! The price will be changed if the sponsors are willing to fund more of it. We'll know that by end of February with any luck.

Aries, are you going to call me a dyno queen if I show up with my regular wheels and tires but the rears are worn down slick?
(that's one way to lighten the rotating mass.)
OK, this was really a shameless bump to keep people interested.

Actualy your tires need to be with in Legal tread limits for saftey reasons on the dyno...
But yes, I will call your truck a Dyno Queen if you don't run with your AT's...

I'm thinking of putting some incredibly thin oil in, a really loose water pump, dropping the AC belt and giving it a whirl
That's 1.2 extra hp there!

I've seen more than one street racer pull their alternator and power steering belts off just to race and then put them back on before driving back to town.

It'll cost you a couple of hp unless you jack your timing up a little. Give it a couple of degrees and you'll gain a little.
I may run a different brew in the meth injection.

It's an old school concept
The oil, belts, all of it. Swaybar disconnected, etc.

I saw it when I was a little kid. I'll try to learn from your age and wisdom.
For anyone that doesn't realize, Doug is only a year or 2 older than me.

If your street tires are worn below the legal tread they unsafe to be on the road, let alone a dyno! Common sense dude... oh wait...

Yes you get print outs AND I will have my Digi Video camera for vids for everyone too! I'll try to remember to bring a small laminator so that the sheets won't get messed up for some reason...

Judging by Hugz most recent line of questioning.... I 'd say that the schedule is getting closer and closer.

Cool: there is a lot going on and I do not want to double book for any event.
Also some time between to relax would be good to
