20th Annual Thorobred Chevrolet Ostrich Festival Parade

When: Saturday, March 8th, 2008
Where: Downtown Chandler, Arizona
Times: Parade - 7:00am til 11:00am
           lunch - Uncle Bear's Bar & Grill
                      (480) 792-1945
825 S Cooper Rd, Gilbert, AZ
Who: All Avalanches - Tucson Too!

The Details:

Pretty much all of the details are the same as last years events, so if your memory still serves you well, this should be a piece of cake!

Pre - Parade Staging Information:

7:00 am - Meet at Staging area located at South East corner of Alma
School Road  and Knox. There is a large open parking area we can
form in. This is  roughly across the street from the Motorola Freescale
Plant. (Knox is half a block south of Warner Road.

7:30 am - Parade Registration
After I have completed the check - in, we will roll to our designated
                parade entry location.

8:00am - All trucks in line on parade route!
Judging of entries begins at this time also, so ALL trucks must be in
line at this time! No participants will be allowed in or out at this
               time!

Trucks will be staged 2 wide at this point for the parade.

This is a great time to Show and Shine! Bring your detail kit's to
clean 'em up! It's also a great time to mingle with the crowd. We
had a lot of people asking questions in this area in past years.

10:00am  - Parade Begins!

Keep them in line tight and side by side! We got a huge reaction
from the crowd last year! Be prepared to give them the "Neutral
Drop" roar of the exhaust! This really gets them fired up!

De-staging Areas -

The parade ends at Chicago St. (just north of Frye Road,)
and we will be directed on to Wall, Oregan, or California Streets.

Ostrich Festival Parade Rules:

NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OF ANY KIND!
No candy or other items thrown during the parade.
No literature shall be distributed in any form.
All members must be in vehicles - NO WALKERS.
No stopping during parade (unless required due to pace)
             No amplified sound!

Things You Need To Bring! -

PLEASE BRING MOTOROLA RADIOS - CHANNEL 7.0
Water, soft drinks, and food to support your vehicle.

Sounds like a great Saturday - please post questions here, as well as if you will be attending, and how many!

See you there!

Glen and the 17 kids  Thumbs up!
