Please let us know how many in your party will be attending. Also at a later date will we do a food thread for Pot Luck.
This is going to be an amazing GTG. Lake George is gorgeous

10:30
- Cruise over to the Log Jam restaurant. The prices are mid-range but well worth it. i go there every year and the food is outstanding. The desserts are to die for and will feed you for days

After lunch you are free to join in one of the activities mentioned in the thread or venture on your own.
6:00 -7:00

Well, in the other thread I said that our summer schedule was pretty much full. As it turns out, we have only one weekend open... and it just so happens to be the June 20-22 weekend!
I think the wife and I (and the gang of furry little ones) should be able to make this one.
The campground mentioned in the other thread looks interesting. We would want a site with water/electric (50 amp hopefully?) with sewer and cable preferred but optional.
I'll be watching to see what details develop.

Yup! I talked to the Fiancee'' last night and even though she would be able to make it I got the green light (Well that wasnt required but much easier to have) Looks like one right now but maybe I can get her freed up and make it too. You got to meet Jebbles!

Great deal with the dealership.
Thanks NewtoLI
I might drive up to the campground this weekend and check them out if they are open. If everything looks good I will reserve some for us. I was thinking of reseving around 10 next to eachother. Anything else anyone wants to check out.....like maybe where we could set up a massage bed.

Awesome TS (yup have to shorten your name , if you have a better suggestion let me know , Bonesaw is now going to be BS too
) I personally have been up there every year since I was 2 so I know the place like the back of my hand . I know I wouldn't mind doing the Outdoor Extreme Challenge place, they are new but I'm sure they will not be open.
Hey if you can check to see if they allow Bonfires that would be nice

I was unable to drive up and take a look at the campgrounds this weekend. I was oncall at work and they kept me busy. I will try sometime this week so we can solidify our resting place.

Alright everyone here is the scoop. I went up to look at campsites today. Most were still closed and cover in snow. I found two sites that look like they would work for everyone.
The first one is:
Lake George Escape Resort (lakegeorgeescape.com)
They aren't on lake George but are on Schroon River. The sites have water, electric, cable, and WIFI.....yep wireless internet. They also have a pond on site, pool, beach, showers, laundry, game house for kids. Pretty neat place. The sites are $46 per night.
The second is:
Lake George Schroon Valley Resort (lakegeorgecamping.com)
They are also on the Schroon River and is a smaller campground. They offer everything the Escape does minus internet, cable, and pond. The sites are $38 per night.
Everyone who is interested let me know which one we want and I will take care of the rest. Also if we can get a head count that would help.

I also forgot to mention that they are right near Warrensburg where NEWTOLI lives and close to the dealership if that works out. The Sites are within a ten minute drive to Lake George Village for any one who wants to go gift shopping, take a ride on the ferrys, visit Fort William Henry, or just hang out at some Hopping night clubs

The limited amenities at Lake George Schroon Valley Resort are good enough for me, I personally don't need cable, WiFi or a pond. But looking at
www.rvparkreviews.com
, Lake George Escape Resort seems to get better reviews. The prices for the two places are close enough to each other that I don't really see that as a deal breaker.
I'll put in a vote for Lake George Escape Resort, but I'll go with the majority rule on this one. My minimum requirements are pet friendly, some grass where I can set up a dog pen, 50 amp power (30 will do if that's all there is) and a relatively level spot to park a 40 foot rig. Everything else (sewer, cable, WiFi, etc) is gravy.

As for myself either place is fine. All I need is a patch of grass for my tent.
