Are you going with an SOR bumper or Road Armor?

I seen the road armor on a lifted truck a week ago. I did not like it because there were some huge gaps in between the body and bumper. The SOR bumper looks better. (imho).

The SOR fits the AV very nice, and it is the only one with perfect body color matching, and cladding/Avatex coating. Roadarmor has not perfected this yet. Plus the SOR is less expensive with all the options and shipping. The road Armor I think that Ipriced out to match mine from SOR was around $3000, mine shipped to me was $2400. SOR is the first company to have an actual stainless steel bumper >:D, very sweeet & very expensive, get ready to dish out your life saving s for it :3:, but well worth it (y). And from what I found it is great dealing with Ben and the rest of the people at SOR. After talking with Ben, I had made up my mind.

Mud,

Do you have an ID on Mountain lion? I did a member search and came up with nothing. I wanted to ask him some questions about his King shocks. Thanks.

Brent, I found the site for all the King Shocks: http://www.kingshocks.com/shocks.htm

Thanks James! I was wanting to know if Mountain Lion has a shock hoop that his shocks are mounted to or if he was able to use the stock mount locations. I don't think they make vehicle specific shocks. Has anyone seen his rig up close? Also would like to know what he thinks about the performance. They are designed for offroad racing and I was wondering if that translates to a good shock for everyday driving.

Brent, I got a little bit of an update for you. Mike from King shocks sent me an email:
"Hello,
2.5 PRERUNNER SHOCKS
It depends on how you are doing the lift.
Email me your address and I will send you a catalog.

I sent in my address for a catalog, might be worth while checking out, incase I want to upgrade to a dual shock setup with remote reservoirs ;D.

This may be an obsolete issue for you, but I CANNOT RECOMMEND STRONGLY ENOUGH that you avoid doing business with those clowns. I bought their coilovers some time back and was told on the spring rates (we were going triple rate) that as long as I didn't run them except on the ramp to test the compression ratios, we could swap them out no problem for free except shipping. Well as we ordered and reordered them I sent back 14 springs, perhaps a thousand dollars worth... and despite NUMEROUS phone calls, never got 1 penny of my money on those 14 back. To top it all off, they lied that they had ever said that (same guy) and even worse, sent back old, faded, oil/tar stained springs for one of my last set and claimed they were new except for "maybe 40 or 50 miles of driving on the shop truck"!!! The shop I was working with since that day (about 4 years ago) has refused to ever buy from them again because of it. Just my experience, hope it helps someone else out there avoid getting shafted like I did with them.

I don't have King Shocks, I was just helping someone else find a place to get those shocks, but I appreciate you posting that, hopefully, they've cleaned up their act.
