So - I've done a bit of searching and still trying to figure out how to do this. I've bought a BlackBerry Storm in which I have all of my music loaded. I want to "stream" my music over Bluetooth via AD2P into the AUX of my 03 Factory HU. Anyone know a good solution?

I've thought about installing something like this: http://www.store.motorola.com/mot/en/US/adirect/motorola?cmd=catProductDetail&productID=98690H&showAddButton=true

Any recommendations would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I want to do the exact same thing with the storm...  did you figure out how to do it?

I'd also like it to be a speakerphone.  I have an 07 with Nav.

Haven't done it quite yet - but found all the necessary parts. In theory - it should be an extremely easy install. Maybe you can beat me to it.

So, I first bought the BlackBerry desktop charger (http://www.discountcell.com/cellular/p/blStorm_ASY-14396-008_3). I plan to hook the power of this into the cigarette lighter since I want it to stay on all the time.

Next, this is where I was really surprised - BlackBerry actually MAKES the exact piece we need to integrate into the dash. Buy the BlackBerry stereo gateway (http://shop.crackberry.com/blackberry-remote-stereo-gateway/52A142A3579.htm) and installed it with a connection that turns on/off with the car (say a sunroof connection or stereo). Then, just run the wire from this device to the AUX In (you might need to make some custom adjustments to the stereo to make this happen - do a search, talks about it all over on the forum) and you are GOOD TO GO.

Like I said - haven't done it yet, but in theory you can pull this off for around $75 bux. Not to shabby for AD2P Factory HU!

Good luck, if you do it - post pics of the install!

I found this:  http://us.kensington.com/html/14484.html

Its $70 bucks on Amazon, Newegg and Buy.com.

I'm gonna give it a try.  I looked at the stereo gateway but it seems like something really made for a home stereo and it didn't have a mic.  I was actually thinking of getting it for my office.

I know this thread has been abandoned for some time but my setup is a ipod a/v cable and a ad2p for ipod adapter from sprint the a/v cable was 25.00 at walmart and the sprint bluetooth ipod adapter was 10 .. it works great and comes on and off with the car. and my phone auto pairs with it every time, only bad thing is it just does adp2 it doesn't do speakerphone ... this is my first post hopefully it was helpful

Thanks for the note. I ended up holding off until I get my new phone this winter. Sounds like a good solution for cheap!

Also -
