Hi everyone,  I got my 03 victory red Avalanche Z71 in Sept in biloxi, ms. I have needed a truck for a while and right before i bought it i was going to get a Toyota tundra 2004 quad-cab, then after i looked at all the standard options vs the avalanche for the convenience of the ride inside the cab. so it was a hands down decision when i found the steering wheel radio buttons, heated seats, large rear seat, 6 cd changer, sunroof, pwr seats including passenger, pwr mirrors that fold in with led blinkers in mirror, 4x4, electric rear view mirror, and the 3-piece tonneau cover. i've had a few problems, fuel needle not going down all the way at shut-off the vehicle therefore not reading the right fuel level when truck is started, and i gotta fix the headlight bulb cover. not to mention the shocks and tires need replacing. i've heard about the emissions being a problem with these trucks so imma search this site and hopefully and answer to my problems will be solved. i actually bought my truck right before i came to the desert, i only had 3 days to drive it. cant wait to get back to it and cruise around. also looking for the best protectant for the plastic siding to keep it looking good and protect it as well. love forums like this because i am also a newcelica.org member and sites like these really help out the unknown facts and pass on the good and bad information. so its cool to be a part of another group of people who have the same ambitions to make our vehicles better.
