28 inch rims

Hey, can anyone tell me if  28' rims  will fit on my 2008 LTZ Avalanche... if not,why? if so... what would i have to do to accompish this? 

depending on the OD of the tires, leveling the front may be required to reduce rubbing.  If the OD is a lot more than stock, then a slight lift might be needed.

If you want them bad enough, they'll fit.  There was a member with an 02 on 26's with a 2/3" drop.  It rubbed, but it worked.

you wont be able to turn very well, i took mine off...right now i have 26 and the tires still rub on the arm bar thingy when i cut hard...ALSO 26" and bigger, u will bend the rims, u will have to buy extra tires and u will need frequent wheel alignments and u will need frequent balancing...nobody said putting big wheels on these trucks were cheap but damn they look good!
