The temp was like 60 yesterday so I cleaned my cladding and used refinish restorer. It started raining but I had it in the garage so this morning I pulled it out and saw a couple little touch up spots. It works great! I then put a missing GM mud flap on. So in the last two days my Avy got some refinish restorer and a mud flap.

It must have rained in Florida and you pulled it out of the carport!!!

I love watching my parents neighbor when it rains...
Pull the car out of the carport, fill the bucket with some soapy water to wipe down the car, then let the rain take care of the rest!!!!

Less water spots that way when you pull it inside to dry it off. Goldbowtie does it all the time.

Yep.
I watch the weather radar and try to time finishing the washing just as the downpour hits.

I'm sure the neighbors think I'm crazy.
They are right, but not because I wash my car in the rain.  ::)

Yeah man same here. I had plastidipped all the nameplates, the emblems, and also the front grill and emblem. Since then I have put lights on the front and wrapped the bowties in camo wrap and the dip has muddy water marks. Hopefully one day this week when its warmer I will wash it and then wax it and then respray. I have 2.5 cans of black and 2 cans of glossifier. I am gonna cover up the lights and the camo with painters tape and tape it all off. Then I will spray it with about 3 coats since I have some tears in the nameplates and LT symbols. Then let it dry like that. Then I will tape closer on top of the plastidip and spray the glossifier so it doesnt get on the paint. then After 3 coats of that I will pull all the plastidip up and that way I will have glossy plastidipped stuff. Hopefully that works. I just want to use the glossifier because I am thinking it will work as like a type of clear coat and hardener for it.
Does anyone know for sure?

Due for state inspection this month, so I'll take it down to run errands, get it washed and inspected, and call it a day.

Try pep boys, my local one has every plasti dip that you could think of, all the blaze colors even, metalizers, pearlizers, black, white, gray, and glossifier

Cool man I will be sure to get some of those instead of getting a big panel, plus I can fit more of those in a smaller space. Was thinking maybe of putting them in the drivers side a pillar or on the dash plastic above the radio unit

after pulling the dash apart the section where i put them had the least amount of plastic to drill through.

Try HomeDepot.com.
They're a few cents less than DipYourCar.com and home depot offers free shipping to your home or local store.............. that is if you're looking to buy a case of six cans.
