Spare tire jack?? location ??

If same as earlier years, under rear seat, passenger side.

From page: 6-79 of the 2010 Owner's Manual:

The jack and the wheel blocks are located under a
cover near the passenger side rear seat.

Yep little knob comes off and it is behind the plastic piece under passenger side back seat as mentioned.  The passenger side box has the crank arm you put into the hole (behind small black cover next to license plate) to lower the spare tire.  But realy with Onstar free for one year why play with, push the little button they come fix it for you FREE....

Hi everyone, just bought a 2010 Avalanche and was wondering where the jack is located,, Thanks for your help..  what a great site :D

........They are going to be mad at you for posting the same question on two different threads........bad newbie..........and your asking about a 2010 in a 2006 topic...oops...welcome aboard....think your gonna fit right in..

I have an 10.  The jack is under the rear passenger seat and the tools are located in the passenger side cargo compartment.  Remember if you are rotating your tires to reset the tire sensor.

It's Chevrolet Roadside Assistance but OnStar will connect you to them but you are still at the mercy of getting someone to your location, I don't think they have to come if you are offroading. It's always a good idea to know how to change your own tire.

If you don't subscribe to AAA it's not a bad idea to keep your Chevy Roadside Assistance even after warranty expires (alot cheaper too). Get a flat, run out of gas, need a jump start or a tow ? You don't need OnStar, just dial 1-800-CHEV-USA  :B:

One thread in appropriate section is enough....thank you
