I have an 07 AVA.  I'm trying to locate the AC cord for the engine block heater (or engine coolant heater).  I have searched this fine site and found write ups and refined my search but can't find the damn thing.

Can someone post a picture as to where the cord/plug is located, please.

Thanks

Are you sure you have that option, it's by number 3

Thanks for the scematic.

I assume that is the driver side frame rail. The arrow points to the front of the truck.  The other lines on top of the frame rail are the brake lines.

I still don't see the cord.  My window sticker says under options "Engine Block Heater  $50.00".  The owners manual calls it a "Engine Coolant Heater" and says it's near the power streering fluid reservoir.

That reservoir is on the front of the engine block driver's side.  I'm stating the obvious becaue I hope I got something wrong .

I just don't see it.

If the previous owner used it it might have been rerouted somewhere else.

Look for the attachment point on the engine. It may be under the left exhaust manifold in the side of the engine block toward the rear. A hand mirror and flashlight may be helpful in finding it.

If the cord has been removed you should still see the heater and exposed terminals in the side of the engine.
