I'm headed to the NAIAS Saturday morning, anyone want to join me.

I have to see the new Corvette.

What time were you thinking?
Morning for me is sometimes different than the retired folks I know!!!

I'll have to confirm that I won't be called in for work, but the time is good. The sooner, the better. (I don't wanna fight thru the crowds later in the day)

Well I do etickets, 12 bucks and no lines. >:D

I pick them up at the entrance a bit away from the lines. LOL.

It must be signs from a higher power...
My new boss wrote me up today for not coming in on Monday, even though she told me to take it off for going in last Saturday.

Then I opened my wallet at the dentist today (a couple of moths flew out) and I found 60 bucks U.S. left over from Florida!!

So I'm definitely not going in on Saturday, and I've got a few more bucks than I thought!!!   (y)

I just ordered my ticket, so I should see you around the Oakland Hall entrance just before 9.
I'm hopping on the Windsor/Detroit tunnel bus to take me right to the front door of Cobo, although it would almost be worth paying 20 bucks for parking, just to drive back thru the tunnel and get some "hang time" on the Train Horns!!!  >:D

Sounds good I'll see ya at 9AM.

We will probably see a couple of members, but they don't post much on the site anymore. But we always go on the first day early. (y)

Saw a new Supercharged Range Rover, it had a kind of "Black Cherry" paint job, that looked OK, until I saw the "Special Paint option" of $14,500, then it just looked ugly!!

It was sad to see no Avalanche at the show but this was a little reminder of the great Avy.

Anyone up to hit the auto show Saturday or Sunday early before the crowds start  January 17 - 18

www.naias.com

Isn't Monday 1-19-15 MLK Day ? I'm busy that morning but many have a 3 day weekend.
Media days are Mon-Fri, NAIAS previews will be in the news all week.

Technology to steal the spotlight at this year?s North American International Auto Show

"And it?s not just that technology is starting to dominate auto shows ? automakers are also starting to dominate technology shows. The Consumer Electronics Show, which just wrapped up in Las Vegas, included major displays by Ford, General Motors Co., Toyota Motor Corp., Volkswagen AG and several other automakers, and auto-related technology generated more buzz than the usual electronic gadgets this year."

It gets crowded on the holidays and you can't get up close to the cars, but I have been known to go twice.

Chevrolet is debuting the new toys monday at 7:45 AM.

If anyone wants to meet up, I'll be there Sunday at 9:30. am

This show is supposed to be coming to Grand Rapids shortly as well.. I will definitely be going there to that one.

I am sure it will be smaller but should be worth it anyhow.

Yeah GM brought out some must see cars . A 640 horsepower Cadillac CTS V and the concept big brother to the Volt called Bolt
