the moto i came up with is

I guess "where no person has gone" would be more PC.

How about:

Avalanche ... it will cost you more than a dollar to watch us change ;D

Really, I think the GM ad execs might argue for a motto something like "Change for a dollar?"

How bout: I've been in an earthquake, and I've been in an Avalanche, and I'd rather be in my Avalanche in an earthquake! (California version) Could substitute hurricane, tornado, mudslide, forest fire, rush hour, flood, or disaster of your choice! >:D

That had to have cost them sales IMHO, all of the great points of the finest vehicle that Chevy has released lost in that drivel - at least the EXT agency had a little fun with their budget.
 
I still prefer what a friend came up with:

"A truck is just a cookie, but the Avalanche is fruit and cake!"

That is what I use on my posts, but unfortunately, it only allows 'The Avalanche is fruit and cake!' Most people still recognize its origin though. -:)
