Is the Av's XM satellite radio antenna 'universal' ?

I just purchased a Kenwood 6990HD double-din head unit to replace my factory one.  I'll be booking it into the car audio shop to have all the work done (moving over entire system from my old truck).

Question:  before I bring the truck in for the swap, I need to know if the Av's (mine's a 2007 LTX) satellite radio antenna hookup will fit this unit?  (the only other way for me to find out is to rip apart my truck to look :)  )

The xm antenna has a retaining clip that will need to be removed. This will allow it to slide into the sxvc100 xm module. In the photo douglasoak posted, once the clip is removed, it will look like the end on the right side of the picture. The xm box is located behind the glove box.

Also, ask the shop to give the clip back to you incase you decide to return to factory. The clip can be removed withou damaging it.

Thanks a lot guys!  The car audio installer I just talked to said if it wasn't the correct fit, they could 'make it work' so they might have those adapters there.. if not I'll order.  Thanks again!

I just found out yesterday (I'm not an aficionado when it comes to car audio - just an enthusiast) that "SiriuxXm Ready" doesn't mean my deck has an XM tuner built in.  Which means if I used the Av's factory satellite tuner, all the XM info wouldn't be displayed on the head-unit's screen, but on the information cluster above the steering wheel column.  Bwahh..

So I picked up the Sirius SXV200 unit yesterday - it's a multi-pin connector that plugs directly into the back of my head unit and allows me to control all my satellite stuff (and shows info of all of it) right on my deck's screen.  Can't wait for the install.
