NEED A LITTLE HELP HERE!!!!! My Daytime Running Lamps Won't Come On. These are brand new bulbs, installed just underneath the main headlights. I looked up the fuses on 31 and 33 underneath the hood. Ohm'd them out. they're good. Tested the ambient ligt sensor in and out of daylight, that's still good, I did find a schematic of the lighting system online which indicates a DRL Relay located in the underhood fuse box however, in my vehicle (2010 Avalanche LT) there is no relay there. If there is a DRL relay, where is it? If not, what should I check next? :help:

Checking DRLs in drive gear in the daylight. Headlights should switch to mDRLs after 1 minute. The Headlights go out which tells you the ambient sensor is operational. I Justy need to find where the DRL (PCB) Relay is located

Not knowing what year these mods give locations of relays.

Does ANYONE know where the DRL (PCB) Relay is located on a 2007-2010 chevy avalanche? My under hood fuse box does not have one in the schematics.

Do you have an owner's manual?

A link here if you do not have one good luck

Well some good news and bad news, the relay is a part of the Printed Circuit Board=PCB

It is located under the Fuse panel and is soldered in and not replaceable, you have to replace the board.

For the past  3 weeks, I've been trying to Fix my DRL's in my '08 Z71 Avalanche. I've looked a all of the posts and videos and I cannot fix them. I changed both bulbs and the other day when I pulled up to a glass storefront I saw that they were on. Put the truck in park, they went off and then in drive, they went on.  About 2 hrs later, I checked and they were off. 2 days later, at the same time of day (noon time), they were on again.  Driving home 3 hrs later (bright sunlight) they were off. So frustrated.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ron

Do realize the Avy has to be in drive.
You can test them by turning the key on do not start the Avy. Place in drive with brake
on or chocked. Go to the front and see if they are on.
The sensor also has to be in day light or some kind of light on it.
