I need to remove the front body cladding(bumper) to repair a bent tow hook any ideas on the best way to do this  with tearing anything up

I have never taken mine off ... a good place to start though just so you can see would be to take out the grille which is the 4 clips in front of the radiator and then clips across the Chrome bar and the body color part under the headlights (small screwdriver for those works good)  (y)

Ya may want to get some cladding clips also.

this thread should answer your question

Tow hooks bolt on... and are cast....
so not much you can do to unbend them without fear of weakening...

I woudl just cut bolts off and buy new one.

The hooks themselves aren't bent its the frame horn that took a beating  I want to cut it out . the straighten it  and re weld it back in so the tow  hooks are straight
