Sun visor mirror flap

When I fold my sun visors down to support a sun shade, the mirror flaps do not stay closed.  Fortunately, the do not open to the point that the lights stay on.  At first, just the passenger side visor was not staying closed.  In the last week, the driver side has begun doing the same thing.  Is there something I can adjust to keep the flaps up?  Or is Velcro the answer?

My driver side is doing the same thing. I never use the mirror anyway, so I clip my garage door opener over it to keep it closed.

WHat year?

Try looking around mounting bracket and back side for screw..

Or old school fix: shove toothpicks into hole in visor that the shaft comes out to tighten it up the gap.

CenFL Avalanche is speaking of the mirror cover being loose, not the sun visor itself.

Maybe put something on bottom middle so when it closes is can stick to it?

Velcro or magnet or little blob of silicone?

Could you repost the fix (picture's not there any more) or PM your solution to me?

Thanks!
