2007 Avalanche LTZ lower rear suspension arm Q's

I am finishing up buying most of the parts I need for a suspension overhaul and one of the parts has me stumped.

I have part number 22868629 from the dealer for my VIN for each arm (2) needed.

22868629 is cross referenced to part number 15239738 (which has been updated to 15286145) in some ebay auctions. If I type 15239738 or 15286145 into the ebay search, it will only bring up auctions for 22868629.


Is this the same dang part or am I going mental? I gave the 15239738 to the dealer and all he asked is "what vehicle is that part number for?". I mentioned the search results and he clammed up so I have no idea if I can use either 152 number for my NOS part search away from the dealership.....

Does anyone know?

Well if it helps you any I see 22868629 as being the correct one at GM parts direct.

Yes, 22868629 is for sure correct for my truck. I was questioning 15239738 number because there are some listed for sale at 1/2 the cost and in the 15239738 auctions they have the 22868629 in the 'other part number' list.

Half the cost isn't always a good thing.

They are all NOS OEM parts, so actually 1/2 price is as good as it gets.

A lot of the low cost car parts on Ebay are Chinese junk that last about a quarter of what OEM does.  If they are OEM parts a half the price, that is a good thing.

Oh, yeah I know that. I'm not putting any aftermarket parts on my truck when it comes to engine/steering/suspension. If I can get nearly 200k miles safely out of the original parts, then I only want to replace them with OEM.
