I already tried starting this on performancetrucks.net so here's the link:
http://www.performancetrucks.net/forums/gm-drivetrain-suspension-22/1-ish-body-drop-suv-s10-mounts-542234/#post5346808

Has anyone done it? and as I bring up in the linked thread, any body lifted guys have any input on moving bumpers?

Mike

Bump for me.

The deployment is ending and I'll be home in around a week. I want to crawl around it a little but, I'm pretty sure I'll try this.
I think I should be able to just redrill the bumper mounts. Worse case on the front, I think just cut he the horns straight with the bumper on them, have some helpers hold the bumper where it needs to sit and weld the horns back together. Maybe ad a gusset it something....

jump on http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/ and search for body drop and there is a thread that explains exactly how to body drop.

That's the one I post on performancetrucks.net.
