I've done a search  :E: and I can't find anything on this topic.

What I understand is it can be done. The Escalade cluster loses the analog oil temp and volts gauges, but moves them to the DIC. The DIC is much better on the Escalade, and shows MPH in digital format on all screens. The backlighting matches the Avalanche, and the blue needles don't look out of place.

What I also understand is that you need an adapter cable (for a lack of a better way to put it) so you can connect the GMT900 Avalanche/Silverado/Sierra/Yukon/Tahoe/Suburban harness into the Cadillac cluster (THIS is the kind of stupidity that had GM go bankrupt). I've seen the removal and replace procedure, only incrementally harder than the 2002-06.

The question is - where do I find the adapter cable? Does or did anyone make them here?  ??? ??? ???

I'm thinking I want to swap the cluster as I've grown accustom to the DIC. I don't tow/haul so the volts and oil gauges being visible full time aren't as critical to me. There is a company in Kent that will swap miles and VIN and give me the required state paperwork so everything is above board and I don't throw any codes. Just need the adapter.

There are about 4 different Escalade clusters including a fully digital one, are you looking at the one with 2 large dials and 2 small ones.

Yup - securing the gauges not a problem -- I'm under the impression you need an "adapter" for a lack of a better way to put it connect the Chevrolet harness to the Cadillac cluster. If it's plug and play - than I read/saw wrong and I'll do the swap.

As far as I know right now you can do it without a adapter, I think maybe they were thinking about the fully digital cluster.

That thing is BA has 7 different screens you can customize.

Let me find which cluster you need for a 2011 because a few things change with the 12 and 13

I remember reading somewhere that you needed an adaptor pigtail to go from the stock cluster to the escalade cluster, but I didn't read too far into it.

It was years ago when I looked into it, but you needed an adapter for one of the gauge clusters and not the other two if I remember, I don't remember which though. As B mentioned, there are 3 different ones that were used in the 07+ Escalade

Holy mother f**king ass crackers! I want THAT cluster. How do I get THAT cluster!

Well one thing I did find out you do indeed need a pigtail adapter for the 07 up escalade cluster. The adapter looks pretty easy to make. Apparently the AV were never upgraded to use them.

Chief That's what I meant by BA= Bad Azz

So can that be installed in the GMT900 platform vehicles? I'm guessing no

I'm pretty sure you need the CUE system to make that one work.  That could become a very expensive mod.

Well rats - why did you get my hopes up - LOL!!!

OK back to the question then - where do I find a jumper or directions on how to build one.

I BELIEVE you can buy the pigtail directly from this company. At least, this is the company that had them a year ago when I looked into it.

If that site does not work out for you let me know and I'll send you a diagram.

This is when I miss JP Customs.

Chris White might do stuff for us. He's a bit of a butthead to work with but VERY good at what he does.

If Chris White owned JP Custom it's gone, but there is a site on facebook JP Customs 901. It looks like a ricer site to me.
