Got me a deal (I thought) On a 2006 Avalanche. Passlock was going bad, okay no problem. Replace, relearn drive off.
It would drive intermittently before the replacements. Replace the ignition cylinder, and the Ignition Lock Housing. NOT a fun process, but it is done.
Security light comes on, during the relearn process... but NEVER goes off to continue the procedure. I tried the waiting 10 minutes, off on etc... three times in a row, the light never goes off, and it will not start. Sometimes it will crank for a second, but never a start.
Battery charged... etc.. etc..
Am I doing something wrong? Is there some sort of inside secret that I am unaware of? Been stuck with no vehicle for going on 4 days now. Things are getting desperate.
