So plan on painting the center chrome piece on my grill black has anyone ever done this? Do you strip the chrome and if so what is the best way to do so?

Sand it till it's not shiny any longer then plastic primer then paint.
What do you plan on painting it with??
Some have cleaned it with denatured alcohol then made several costs of Plasti Dip.

Makes since had idea but never messed with plastic never mind coated with chrome finish. I do plan on painting it a gloss black. Thanks guys.
