OK, I am nearly done with this darn LED conversion.  Only one teeny, tiny issue.  I don't have a fancy doodad to test current, and frankly wouldn't know how to use it properly at this point.  I need to install the load resistors into my truck (I know, mount on metal not plastic) but don't know which wires to tap into.  I am assuming that the wiring harnesses are all the same on the 2002s.  If there are only two wires going into the bulb, it makes the wiring pretty simple, but a combination parking light/turn signal would need 3 wires.  So which wires do I connect to?  Hoping to do this in the morning before I head to work.  THanks in advance!  This noob is really appreciating all the help you guys are giving me upgrading my old reliable 2002 Z71!

No I didn't see that thread!  I ended up going out to the truck and saw that the wiring on each turn signal had a black, brown and then either a blue or purple wire.  So I connect to the black figuring they were both negatives and then connect the other side of the resistor to the odd color.  Worked like a charm!  First hook up took me about 20 minutes to figure out.  2nd one went much faster at about 7 minutes.

Tomorrow I tackle the front turn signals--I had solid white LED bulbs, but those are illegal.  Have to flash amber, so I had to wait for my switchback LEDs to show up.  Also swapping out old headlight bezels as well as the fog light bezels to make the truck look newer.

Thanks all for the advice.  I'll post pics soon of the interior LEDs---it's amazingly bright inside the truck and the reading lights are super bright too!
