Looks mean, but not really a truck, more of an SUV. From an article on Foxnews:

"Hydrogen tanks and a small battery are installed where the bed of the Colorado would normally be, along with a power-take-off unit that provides electricity for equipment in the field. "
 
think Gm should offer these here as gm supplied most of the parts

as much as i love the midgate as i have gotten older I no longer put it down to sleep when I travel as there is a hotel chain that always leaves the light on for me . And to haul stuff now I just take the trailer ,that way I don't have to unload the AV when I get home,I just unhook and go get a beer and take a nap.

That is awesome! The leather wrapped dash was probably just to hide the massive cracks  :laugh:
