02 avalanche ABS and break light stays on

hello. we just bought this beautiful 02 chevy avalanche a week ago. The abs light and break light stay on
continually.  The previous owner told us that the emergency break was broken. will this make both lights
stay on?  Thank you

I notice in your other post you have 22 inch wheels,have someone check the wheel bearing.
