new to the forum >>>2007 AV the radio & acc. stay on forever after shutdown & doors are opened & closed ...happens about every two weeks ....can disconnect battery & all is back normal for another two weeks ...this vehicle is new to me with 125k miles ...understand about the RAP system ....is there anyway to disable this system ?...thanks for any help

You can't disable it, but it sounds like the mini wedge switch in the door latch is stuck.
Your best bet is to have the BCM reprogrammed by the dealer and see if that fixes it, or if not have the door latch replaced.
Also try spraying some WD 40 or PB blaster in the door latch and see if that help.
