I have dual temp control knobs and lately have used heat a week ago with no problems, now when I try to use the A/C again the driver's side still blows out heat, does anyone know what's up with that??

WHat year avy?

Have you had any electrical issues lately.

No I have not had any other problems with the AC or anything else electrical, the AC still blows cold on the passanger side

We are talking the vent in the upper dash, not the heating vent in the lower dash by your foot.

You can try the reset procedure and see if that helps.

First, start the truck and then turn EVERYTHING on your HVAC to OFF.

Shut down the truck and disconnect the battery for a minute or two.

Reconnect the battery.

Start the truck and cycle through all of the settings on your HVAC system.

If this fixes the problem, you are done.

Of not, you most likely have a blend door actuator going bad.

Plenty of threads in this forum on that repair.

Mine has always taken the reset procedure.

But replacing the blend door actuator is not that bad a deal, either.

Best of luck.

PS: Put your truck info in your forum signature so others will know what your have without having to ask sometime down the line.

I would venture to say that is his exact culprit. Those things seem to go more often than not.. lol
