Hi all. It finally got cold here in Kansas - down into the 20s. I notice now that when it is cold and I go through a dip or over a speed bump, I hear (and can feel) a scraping or rubbing sound from the driver's front wheel. I looked under there and don't really see anything unusual.
The noise only happens on up/down, not when turning the wheels. It happens if I go over a speed bump at 3mph or through a dip in an intersection at 15. Once the weather warms up in the day to the 40s or 50s, the noise goes away.
I seem to recall hearing a similar sound with my 07 Tahoe, but that thing had so many other problems I just ignored it. The Av has about 70,000 miles on it.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance
