Hey guys, long time no see?

I have a annoying problem with my Avalanche.
When i close the Avalanche with the remote, after a minute of ten my DIC starts flashing a bit.
After a while my whole DIC stays lit, all digits are on!
When i open my Avalanche with the remote again, or i turn on a reading lamp or something, the DIC goes off again.
The DIC itself works fine when i drive with the Avalanche.

What could this be, some kind of ground problem all of a sudden?
I pulled the DIC fuse from the underhood fuse box so my DIC won't be on all the time.

I have a 2003 Avalanche with 64200 miles.
I have an Escalade cluster:

It is an issue with your cluster.. Do you have any gauges acting weird?

You COULD try attacking this yourself or pass it off to an expert who gives lifetime warranty on his work..

This issue isn't as common as the gauges going bad but it does happen.

could be something as simple as one of the leads having a bad solder joint but that guy I mentioned does A LOT of clusters. He also fixed my mirror when the display stopped working.

Does it sometimes make a swirling noise ???
