Check 4 x 4 message

OK, I got the Check 4 X 4 msg. on  the dash. Cleaned the 3 grounds located on the left frame rail under the driver's seat, still got the msg. What's next?
 
Unfortunately you may have to take it in and have the codes read. No telling what it is.
 
Well I have a diagnostic code reader that says the only code stored is PO 449 and I'm working that issue already. The reader says no other DICs are stored....
 
You will need a better reader than the one you have. Try taking it to a auto parts store that will read all the codes.

A standard reader will only read the Pxxxx codes. P=Powertrain codes.
 
took it to the guy that rebuilt my 4L60 E to 4L65 E. he's got a snap on reader that's bigger then a cigar box, cost lots of bucks. he says no codes. NEXT?
