Front Posi Unit.

I know srfnsno had put a manual locker in the front of his av and it worked really good. I don't think a true posi would be good for the every day driving though.
 
I thought the front housing wasn't large enough for any of the lockers
 
You would have to ask srfnsno but when we went to Rausch creek one time he had a lever in his cab to engage the front locker and did so while going through a very big mud hole.
 
It has to be something custom.

I know way back in the hay day for the AV, ARB or Eaton were trying to develop a locker for the AV, it was very difficult because the front diff is small, I believe they only had one or two prototypes, it never went into production.
 
This is interesting...

So the Avvy front diff is different than a Suburban or Tahoe front diff? I guess I've never looked, but either of those rigs don't have a front locker kit on the market?
