Did a little '04 rear end cover upgrade when I replaced the rusty brake lines. Used the G2 cover part #40-2021AL for GM 8.5/8.6 10 bolt rear ends. The cover will require a new panhard bar to allow clearance to fit. QA1 panhard bar part # QA1-5262 for GM SUV. It brings the rear oil capacity to about 4qts. As soon as I can get some warmer weather I'm going to attack the underside rust. I still have to get a stud to replace one of the cover bolts so I can secure the rear brake line block.The bolts that came with the cover are too short to attach the bracket to the cover.
