Has anyone taken the 2500 components out of one of these and put them in their Avvy? Or could the body's be swapped?

The AV and Suburban share many common components.

Anything can be done with the right amount of money, I just wonder how much would directly interchange  ???

One would think that a "simple" body swap might be possible...

I'd love to see it done!  :4:

As long as it is a body swap it looks pretty simple. Swapping parts is more difficult biggest is the leaf springs.

Go check out duraburb on facebook. They have done duramax swaps on gmt900 suburban 1500s and hummers
. Even put a lmm in a newer escalade.

I would be very interested to see this.

Being that the AV and Suburban are so similar, and the Suburban comes in a 3/4 ton, it should be doable....

Being that they only get newer, but I lose the L76, I'm planning on keeping this Avvy forever. Planning on it.

2013 was the last year of the 2500 'burb. Looks like the GMT930 (GMT931 for the 'burb specifically) had for a powertrain: the 6.0L LY6 and the 6L90 tranny (from 2008 and on).

so that brings into question with the Sixer and it's L76/6L80 combo, would that just swap in?

Basically, I also wonder how much a rolled (totaled body) 2500 'burb would cost?

I'm thinking around 6-8,000 for a rolled Burb 2500 they are not that many of them out there. So to find one with no frame damage is going to be quite hard to find,
