Hello there again members of CAFCNA!
Hope you're all enjoying the summer so far
The other day, I changed the power steering line that runs from the Hydroboost unit to the steering gear, as fluid could be seen dripping in that general area, and the metal end of that line looked wet.
However, it appears that the problem still exists. I had checked on here yesterday for ideas, and I'm seeing that the coolers like to rust out. So I had a look at mine, and it doesn't appear to be leaking anywhere.
I took a quick peek underneath the truck today, and fluid can be seen dripping off the Pitman arm and general vicinity.
Do you guys think that pulling the box down and throwing a seal kit at it is a good next step?
Was wondering if anyone here in this forum has experienced this issue, and has taken apart and reassembled one of these things.
I'm just really tired of the oil drip in the driveway. Lol!
Any advice and guidance that you might have is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance, guys - and have a good day!
