Okay, I've been chasing this problem for quite a while - 3+ yrs & 50K+ miles.  Lots of parts replaced and went to brake specialist.  The Stabilitrac light will blink 3 or 4 times telling me it is activating although the light does not stay on.  Comes on whenever I make a sharp (90 degree street corner) turn, either left or right although a more gentle turn (ie normal left turn across traffic) does not set the warning light.  Does not seem speed dependent because I've done it at almost idle.

Some specifics: 2008 Z71 4WD, 5.3L, almost 150K miles.  Has 2-1/2" leveling kit (March 2008, 6431 miles) plus 3" body lift (March 2012, 63400 miles) , but NO suspension lift.  Have larger (295/75R1:cool: Nitto Terra Grapplers on stock Z71 18" rims (5/10/13, 81159 miles so nearing end of life on rubber, but this has been happening for most of that).
Front Right (Passenger) hub replaced 1/30/14, 96949 miles by qualified mechanic.
Front Left (Driver) hub replaced 2/9/17, 143614 miles by qualified mechanic.
All 4 brake rotors and pads replaced last on 9/12/15, 123,406 miles by myself with Brake Motion Slotted/Drilled rotors and pads.

On Tuesday, 8/8, I was hearing some grinding so I inspected and found the rear pads were COMPLETELY gone, down to the metal (~25K miles???).  Luckily, no major damage to rotor.  I replaced those with DuraLast Gold.  Went to inspect the front pads and they were 80-90% still good.  Inspected all calipers and hoses - no leaks or issues.

Friday, 8/11, I took it to a brake specialist (Austin Automotive Specialists, previously known at Austin Brake Specialists - they had replaced my pads only in 2011).  They could find no codes.  They spent 2 days on the truck, checked all hubs, sensors, wiring, EBCM, etc. and eventually replaced Yaw Sensor ($541).  Of course, I pulled out of their parking lot Saturday PM and IMMEDIATELY got lights again.

I verified the tire size was correct in the programmer (Edge Evolution).  I actually have it in there as 275/70 R18 to correct the speedo because putting in 295/70R18 was putting me about 3MPH off at 60mph (verified with satellite GPS).  I did change it to 295 and still got lights, so it's back to 275.

I did have to get the steering position sensor (clock spring) replaced when I did the body lift (make sure to tie down that steering wheel when doing the body lift - oops).

I searched here and read dozens of posts but couldn't find anyone with this same condition.  I read some TSBs but nothing seems to fit correctly.  I'm taking this back to AAS tomorrow and pointing out the ECBM soldering TB, but I'm not sure that works.

Anyone got any other ideas?

Just to be clear - I am NOT getting the ABS light, just the Stabilitrak light.  3 or 4 flashes whenever I turn sharp.  Yes, this is telling me it is "working correctly" but it shouldn't be working under normal dry conditions.

Thanks, Chris

(And Yeah, I've been off the site for a while.  But Ruby just turned 10 yrs old!)

Is the steering wheel centered, I'm thinking maybe during all your work maybe the shaft was rotated 180 degrees.

Yep, steering wheel is centered.  Note that I had the steering position sensor replaced when I did the body lift in 2012.  But all this stuff happened well after that.  I thought it might be due to tire size because it happened after I got the larger tires, but not immediately.  I tried changing the tire size in the Edge Evolution Programmer but I still got the lights.

Note: The Stabilitrak Lights are coming on ONLY on sharp turns (ie right turn street corner).  They come on in sharp left turns too but do NOT come on during a normal left turn across traffic.  AAS is saying this is "normal", but I disagree.  I'm thinking the EBCM needs to be "de-sensitized" but I can't find much about how to reprogram it.

I suspect it may need it to be de-sensitized also or maybe even turned off.

I know no one wants to take them to the dealer but it may  be a option for you, they can put it on the data recorder and find out what is triggering the light

2 1/2" lift but no suspension lift?

Curious how that works...

Did a 3" lift in the back and 3.5" lift in the front on my GF's 2013 Silverado and it most certainly did affect the suspension. Will likely drop the front to a 3" lift because of the issues she has...

Would think that the larger tires MAY be causing your issues and that reprogramming is likely the only way to fix. I spoke with a local GM mechanic recently and he told me that GM now doesn't support their mechanics changing anything and can only program with firmware for vehicles that GM manufacturers so you need aftermarket programming to change things like gear ratios and such in the computer.
