Transmission line fitting sizes

Hello All,

I am looking to bypass my radiator transmission coolant lines and was curious on what the fittings sizes are.

Need to plug the radiator transmission lines and I am going to include the Derale FLUID CONTROL THERMOSTAT
PART # 25011 along with new braided lines from the transmission to the upgraded after market cooler.

After reviewing the cooler diagram for the 8.1L, and recalling installing the new trans cooler, the fittings are clips.

Anyone have sources for plugs and lines for this style?

Cheers!

I don't have your answer, however why are you eliminating the trans cooler in the rad?  Are you putting in a new cooler?

I ask because I was about the to do the same thing a few years ago, but discovered the trans cooler in the radiator does two things.  It cools the fluid, but in the cold it also warms the fluid.  This is equally important and something you don't want to lose if you are in a colder climate.  I ran the two in series and it has worked extremely well, even on the hottest days towing at max weight.

I did the true cool performance trans cooler upgrade 2 years ago, replacing stock cooler. Temps here in Texas are much hotter than in Maryland.

My Avalanche cooler lines are showing their age and I dont want to have the radiator issue others have had on this site with trans fluid mixing in the antifreeze.

UPDATE;

Found my answer;
