Hello all,

Happy new year 2018 to begin, all the best  (y)

Who have installed a flip? On a 2002

The screen can hit the overhang dashboard ?

I don't think the screen will hit the dash, it will hit the gear gear selector if your not careful. Also they are prone to breaking because they are kinda flimsy. Why not put a double din with a 7" screen, Metra makes a double din conversion kit that makes it easy.

You can shop around and find them cheaper than these but this gives you the idea.

Hello Randy,

The only problem is the total price. Custom shipment price kit to belgium, 250$?
And i like the flip out ?

There are several old threads on this site about using the flip out head units and Randy is correct in that the only clearance issues is with the shift lever when first starting the AV. If I remember correctly the "fixes" were to shorten the lever stalk or some of the head units had a feature where the screen opened out automatically or manually and they set their head unit to open manually and then would open it only after shifting into gear with foot on brake pedal.
