Hey guys, requesting info here. I have a 2002 2wd w/3.73 rear end. It's my son's now, and it has 285K on it. Dang good truck! He broke the diff pulling a buddy out of a rut, so we're gonna just replace the whole rear axle. Any tips that would be a head's up when pulling the whole thing? Also, does anyone know the part numbers for the rubber body bumpers that mount to the frame and bump stop on the axle? They look like big bulbs...
While we are under there, we are going to check all the bushings, too. Where is a good place to buy the bushings for the sway bar and others associated with the axle?
Thank you!

Work carefully with proper jack stands supporting the vehicle.  Brake lines require a little finesse and check the hoses for cracking.  Otherwise, it's pretty straight forward.  Check Rockauto.com for suspension parts and bushings.  Amazon may work too.  Use the process as a teaching moment.  Pass on the knowledge to the younger guys.
