Auto 4W or 2 Wheel Drive

Can't you get it out of auto  by pressing to button
 
  Do you have an owners manual?
You should be able to switch between Auto-2h-4x4,
by pushing the buttons. You need to be in neutral for
4X4 low to engage and disengage.
