Greetings, I searched and could not find any info on this so I'll ask.

2005 1500  Maintenance Brake flush.  Can I do it the old fashioned way with tubing and bottle and help with the brake petal or need I have to disconnect battery since it has ABS?    Anything else I might not have asked... Thanks.

I do it old fashioned way...

As I understand it the brakes have to work when the ABS pump is broke ... so you should be able to bleed old fashioned way.

PS when you bleed the engine is off so ABS pump would nto do anything anyway

Give this a try also.

They talk about not letting the master Cylinder go dry. What I would add to that.
If ABS module gets air trapped takes more to get it out of the module.

Wow.  Seems there are Youtubes  on everything... Thanks.
Who knew there were so many Vacume brake bleeders on Amazon and eBay from $15 - $50 !!
