Hello, I'm live france, the avalanche is very rare in french, I buying Avalanche 1500 Z71 2004 saturday, I'm very happy this pick up, good conditions, juste little working.

I have complete OEM original suspension, wheel... equiped standard 265/70R17,

My question : that's possible install 285/70R17 cooper STT ? or only with lift or spacer wheel

Thank you, sorry for my bad speak.

I have a leveling kit on mine. Didn?t get much lift from just doing the keys so I?m a little higher than stock suspension. And I could only fit 275 with minor trimming

Thank you, for your reponse, the choice is difilcult, juste size stock with AT or AT on 285/70 with kit lift 2" maybe and spacer wheel, the price is very different.

I do think result with budget.

Hello,

I need your opinion, for 285/70R17 with stock wheel, possible mounting with juste 2 keys front 2" ?

thank you

If it?s just keys it?ll never fit. You?ll have to get some shocks that are extended as well I believe. 285s will fit with just keys. But you?ll be doing major trimming.

on my 2003 Z-71, I ran 285/75/17 and did no trimming, had some very minor rubbing in rear wheel liners when car is leaned/loaded to one side.  Had these on for 3 years, no issues.

I also am attempting to mount 285/70R17 on my 2007 Avi 1500. I did a 2 inch front end level from Rough country, but at first attempt I was having major rub in both the front and back of the front tries while in full lock. I'm about to attempt some trimming to see if I can make them fit. I'll be happy to post after, but right now I can say for certain that 285/70 R17's will not fit with just a front end 2 inch level. (Without trimming)

I have 285/70/18 BFG KO2 on my 2002 z71. I have a 2.5in leveling kit with 17x8.5 with 4.75 backspacing with zero offset. They rub on the back of the fender at full lock and on driveways but i been running with them for the like 60k miles.
