I have a 2007 LTZ that had blown air bags in the rear when I bought it.  I just had them replaced with conventional shocks and springs (part #25783732) but even with just a single axle trailer and a mower the rear end sags pretty bad.  The shocks and springs have only about 20k on them.

So what is the remedy, Heavy Duty springs maybe?  But I'm surprised that the regular springs would sag that bad.

Thanks for any help.

Maybe the ones from the off-road package Z71 are stronger. Rockauto sells some also

What is the tongue weight?

Not sure, but it starts to sag before i even put any additional weight on the trailer. Its only a single axel 6?12.
I read that the springs for the air ride suspension arent as strong aa the regular ones due to the fact that the air bags will compensate...is this true?

Yes that is true about the springs
