XM weather display 2012
« on: June 9, 2018, 07:21:35 AM »

Hello,  I am a proud new or new to me Avalanche owner. Iím trying to figure out the Nav unit.  I have full Sirius subscription to include traffic and weather.  Supposedly Iím supposed to press the info button and have the weather forecast pop up on the screen.  Instead I am just getting the time on the center with the date in the corner.  Am I doing something wrong? Is this a Sirius issue or perhaps does the HU not support weather?  Hopefully operator error.  Please let me know as all manuals say Iím supposed to have this functionality.

I doubt it was available in 2012, you may have to upgrade your XM module.

Well researching. I guess what I need for that year is the NavTraffic with local forecast not NavWeather. I made the change but Iím out of town for the rest of the week, have to test my theory on Saturday.
