My truck is having some issues nobody can figure out.  I'm hoping to take it to someone who specializes in these types of vehicles.  Can anyone recommend one?  I'm in Sherman Oaks, SFV area.  It's a 2010 Z71.

Thank you

try a Chevy dealer since they have the knowledge of Chevy behind them.

What is issue?
Engine, tranny, electrical, suspension, brakes, steering?

There's a loud ticking coming from what sounds like the area around the bellhousing / oil pan.  It's getting louder.  It's also well down on power, particularly at low revs.  Pushrods are good, cams are fine, belts are fine, plugs are good and tight.

Cracked flywheel or flywheel issue.

Down on power??
How many HP down?

Sure it is not AFM issues?

Any chevy dealer can help.

I've had nothing but bad experiences at Chevy dealers, hoping for an indie specialty shop.

I thought only manual trans cars had flywheels?

All engines have flywheels ... it is has the gear teeth on outside for starter and tranny torq convertor bolts to it to transfer power fromengine to tranny.

sometimes they can be cracked or a bolt loosens and then they squeek.

Manuals have the added material for where the clutch runs

On an automatic engine what ygmn is calling a flywheel is often called a flexplate.
