Hello all,

I cant find a part number for the encoder motor sensor (C0327 code) for my 2002 2500.
Dorman 600-120 says only for 2003 and up.

Would anyone that has already replaced one have to correct part number?

Cheers!

Thanks, additional question, I suspect that the transfer case clutches are bad.

Would anyone know if there is a way to manually engage the front differential Locking Actuator to see if the transfer case is functioning?

I have no pump rub issue and prior to the C0327 error, when I selected any 4wheel drive options I could hear the motor engage.

Lights on the control button functioned however, 4wheel drive did not work when engaged.

When the front end was lifted off the ground I could hold a front tire and keep it from turning (only did one at a time).

Transfer case fluid smelt burned.

Lots of good info here;

Cant find the just the sensor, will have to order the complete encoder motor.

Does the TCCM need to be reflashed after installing a new encoder motor?

Other posts suggest yes partly because I have an 2002 and following bullentin.
