Evap emission controls

ok, so here's the story on my 07..... I dropped the tank recently to install a new fuel pump, pretty easy job really. After reinstalling I'm getting a check engine light throwing an evap code and... they odd thing: After reinstalling fuel is slow entering the tank, like really slow and always wanting to shut off the pump when filling.
I do not know how the fuel fill line and tank are designed or where it picks up the evap reading but when I was originally dropping the tank it slipped of the jack, falling on the floor and pulling hard on the fuel fill line. Is there something in the fuel fill line that could have kinked causing a blockage or is there possibly an issue at the tank?

I'll have to hook up the scanner again later to get the code. I don't remember right off.
