Gage Cluster Help

I hope I have this in the correct area. I have a 2003 Z66 I bought new. My gage cluster stopped working,  however I still get the digital display with the mileage, miles to empty, etc. My speedo, RPM, fuel, voltage, temp and oil all do not work. I've checked fuses etc. I was told by two different shops I just needed to replace the gauge cluster. I also get a check air bag light everytime I startup but no code shows.
Any ideas?
 
Gauge clusters in the early AVs have been known to have bad solder joints.

That Airbag light maybe a different problem
 
  The reader used can it read air bag codes. When mine lit no codes on my reader.
Went to an auto parts and had them read the air bad code. It showed front impact sensor.
Replaced the sensors fine for a few weeks came back on. In chasing the air bag light no
codes ANYTHING unplugged/broken wire under the seats will set it off.  :E:
