Watertight?

Remember it is a TRUCK, not a submersible all terrain vehicle. If you had a regular pickup you would not probably store your tools and 'stuf' in the open bed for any reason. Get a plastic or rubberized container if you are storing something for the long haul to keep dry and keep it away from the edges. The single most critical item is when the cover panels are re-installed follow the 45 degree angle rule in the book and you will eliminate the majority of the leaks. And if you clean those edges with a cloth or baby wipe before re-installing it removes the contaminants which may contribute to leaks on re-installation.  Mine leaked until someone on one of these threads addressed the 45 degree angle issue. It will not be air tight either for those of you using the Av for smuggling illegal alien operations.
