How can I turn my rearview camera on even while driving.

Hi. I have a 2009 z71 Lt2or3  no sunroof, but touchscreen display/monitor. When I reverse, the rear camera displays on my in dash touchscreen. I want to be able to turn on and view the cam at any time. Is this possible? If so, how so?
