Brakes

So it's time to do brakes on my 2005 Avalanche.  I do tow my Jeep from time to time so I need something capable of stopping around 6k pounds when I'm towing it.  What does everyone recommend?  Yes, I do have trailer brakes.

If you have rims larger than 16" you should consider upgrading to second gen AV brakes everyone who has done the mod loves the results and it doesn't cost much to get the larger brakes from a 2007+ Av. Look at the old thread about the swap for pictures and info....

I've glanced at that before and honestly forgot about it.  I'd just need to get a 17" spare.  I've got factory 17s on it now.  Thanks for the reminder!
